Here is a Forrester report on mobile internet adoption in Europe. The author explains why mobile internet adoption is slow and what companies need to do if they want to have a bigger piece of the mobile market share-cake.
Coming to Google`s business model. Given that they will not be getting any app revenues (TQ Thao for the link) and from the survey we find that mobile browsing is the least used application/functionality amongst the current mobile internet users, how will Google get revenues ? (other than the 30% cut from advertising)
Secondly, mobile users prefer widgets or stand alone apps over general browsing like search, what are the options available for Google to do mobile advertising ?
